Kites have evoked mixed responses among the movie lovers globally prior to its much awaited release across the world. Some attribute it as a roller coaster movie with execllent story line. A deviation from the conventionl song and dance Bollywood creations, �Kites� is reportedly a new step into the international venue.
The Hindi version directed by Anurag Basu too gained praises owing to its display of a variety of genres whether it be romance, music, or action. However it might seem hardly appealing to those who dislike romance.
The movie also receives some serious criticism from a fraction of viewers. Lack of a proper story line and unimpressive performances by the lead actors have also been points of criticism. However, the overall response to the movie �Kites� seem to be encouraging as it is given tag of being a thorough entertainer.
